What does Emerge Skillnet Do?

The Role of the Network is:

  • To provide members with relevant work training progammes allowing them to maximize their performance and acquire new key skills
  • To deliver specialized ethnic business training when, where and how it suits its network members and employees
  • To significantly reduce the training costs of network members and their employees by benefiting from substantially subsidized training which can be up to 90%
  • To ensure that businesses have all the skills and know how they need to succeed.
  • To increase management effectiveness in participant companies
  • To facilitate networking among members as part of a dynamic business forum
  • Networking will feature very highly on the Emerge Skillnet agenda. Evening networking events will be organised whereby guest speakers will speak on topics of interest to the network. Emerge Skillnet will also be linking with the Small Firms Association which will provide opportunities for the members of the Emerge Skillnet to integrate into the wider business community and have opportunities to develop links with indigenous businesses
