Who are Emerge Skillnet
Emerge Skillnet is promoted by Partas and a Steering group which consists of representatives from the ethnic business community, Partas and the Ulster Bank.
The network is managed by Ms Noreen Keegan Kavanagh who is employed by Partas for the past 10 years. During this time, Noreen has held the roles of Enterprise Officer, Jobs Club Manager for asylum seekers who were given an amnesty in July 1999 and could seek employment opportunities, national co-ordinator for two EQUAL programmes – SONAS DP and EMERGE. Her role is to facilitate the running of the network, organise training and networking events, source trainers etc. Noreen will also liase with network member organisations in regard to their training needs and recruit new members to the network.
Ms Miriam Collins who will be the administrator for the project.
Miriam is also employed by Partas for the past 10 years and was also the administrator of two EQUAL projects – SONAS DP and EMERGE.
